Spoontime Posted July 15, 2002 Share Posted July 15, 2002 I used to be able to make my own skins, files etc. and put them into a pk3 file for the game to read. But lately when I try to change the extension to a .pk3 all it does is rename my file to {filename}.pk3 and is still a zip file. Does anyone have any suggestions? Bell Posted July 20, 2002 Share Posted July 20, 2002 do you mean it shows up as filename.pk3.zip?? open windows explorer or any file folder. choose tools/folder options/ click the view tab and UNcheck "hide extension for know file types". that way windows will not automatically append an extension to your file.
