Jasco Smlee Posted July 16, 2002 Share Posted July 16, 2002 I would lower your maxclients. If you still want more clients then lower your maxrate also. I have adsl with 256 upstream and it is currently running lag free with a max of 6 clients and maxrate 4000. I think I could raise these a little but have not got round to it yet. NerfYoda Posted July 16, 2002 Share Posted July 16, 2002 Most lag issues can be solved by juggling your max rate & max clients. As far as your pipe is concerned your upload rate is your bottleneck, so figure that your Internet connection is 128k in your max rate calculations.
