Anavel, the new version of JediMod has support for up to 12 taunts (assuming you name them correctly - the sound files), so we could pick out 12...

In the updated Padme model the taunts are named taunt.mp3, taunta.mp3, tauntb.mp3, tauntc.mp3, etc

I believe that I have 7 taunts at the moment.

I started slowly on a sexy anime babe model for JK2 from the Ghost in the shell 2. But I will put most of my time into finishing Padme first.

ALIEN_JK ... I've send you a message though the forum ....

(it sounds totally different... i can't explain how it is

different but i doesn't need to hear it long before

it give me headache)

Alien,

Yeah, I had that problem at one point. Eventually I figured it out, and started using a program called Cooledit to 'normalize' the sounds, and resample them to 44kz/16bit/Mono, then used Audiocatalyst to convert them to MP3's, and that solved the problems. I even added a new 'footstep' sound just for my character, it was a wooden sandal sounding footsteps I took from an Anime called 'Love Hina'. Since my own mod's character is a Yuffie type ninja girl, it fits perfectly, (sure beats the sound of Jan and Kyle's 'battle boots', which just sounded too heavy for my small character. :)

One other hint, be sure to leave almost no blank space at the beginning or end of the sound file, (if working with Wav files, Cooledit will let you 'crop' out the blank part of the sound). If you don't do this, the sounds play too long, and will interfere with each other if firing many shots in succession.

Take care.

This is a pretty good model.

(They're going to call me crazy, but...)

I personally wouldn't care if what's-her-face(um, Nadalie Portmann?) played her, I just like the model, because it replaces jan, and is one more star wars movie model.

I do, however, have just one complaint.

She has absoloutly no facial bones.

Now, I liked JK1 and Mots, but I don't really want to go back to it(remember the non-moving mouths?)

I took padme out and put jan in because I couldn't stand seeing her speak without moving her mouth(I made luke into yoda, and he doesn't have any facial bones, but that doesn't matter as you can't see him half the time... :D)

So, could you please put some muscles in her face next time?

Heh, I don't think it's as easy as all that to just put on 'face bones' to make the model talk. In fact, so far as I recall, no other model I've downloaded has a moving mouth. (I know the Gungan's don't, nor does the Obi Wan, Maul, or other models I'm using). I certainly won't be dumping the most excellent Gungan models just cause their mouths don't move. (or any other for that matter).

I've no complaint's on that score, since after many (MANY!) times playing through the game, I skip the cutscenes now anyway. I mean, if you stick Padme into Jan's spot, well, isn't it a bit odd that the cutscenes still refer to her as Jan? Yet it sounds like you'd have lived with that, so why not enjoy the model for what it is?

In short, it's not gonna be perfect either way. Might as well just get used to that. :)

Either that, or just do as you've done and ditch the model and stick with stock models if its that big a deal to you.

There is, if you're interested, another Padme out there that is based on Jan's model. It's a skin, not a model, so you can have Padme talk with moving lips, but be aware it won't LOOK like Padme, it'll look like Jan masquerading in Padme's clothes. Still might solve your issue since you pointed out you don't care if it's Natalie Portman anyway. Just a thought. :)
