Jona19 Posted July 17, 2002 Posted July 17, 2002 I cant get my game to work on the internet, when i tried to sign on first it didnt work so i got the poatch. then after i got the patch when i try to play in the zone the computer brings up a message saying that the game isnt installed on my computer. I have reinstalled twice and it doesnt work. Any ideas on what to do?
Kryllith Posted July 17, 2002 Posted July 17, 2002 Are you using just Galactic Battlegrounds or do you have the Clone Campaign as well? If you don't have the CC then the problem might be that you're attempting to join a CC game without the expansion... Kryllith

Kryllith Posted July 17, 2002 Posted July 17, 2002 Have you tried playing multi-player off the Zone (say with a friend)? If not, you might want to try that to find out whether the problem you're having is with the Zone or something more local. Kryllith

Guest DarthMaulUK Posted July 17, 2002 Posted July 17, 2002 Sometimes it always helps to actually READ the instructions. Once you have installed V1.1 for Galactic Battlegrounds, you MUST play at least 1 game for the patch to work. Then, you can re-enter the zone and continue to play as normal. DMUK

Guest DarthMaulUK Posted July 19, 2002 Posted July 19, 2002 ok.... a couple of things. Is the game on a different drive? C or D drive... however your PC is set up. Or, is the copy you have a warez one? If so, you need to buy the game as the patch wont work and it wont work on the zone either. DMUK

I do suggest maybe either downloading the patch again, I do remember people having problems with the 1.1 patch for SWGB and they downloaded it again from a different host and that did the trick. http://www.galacticbattles.com/files/index.php?category=31 Or a full re-install again.
