What fogs are actually good for the bottom of a sky box?

Any brush that completely blocks off an area and yet you should be able to see through it (trigger brushes, cushion brushes, fog brushes, glass brushes, etc) NEEDS to be made a detail brush, or the engine will get confused during VIS.

Thus (in short), if you have a sky on the floor brush and a fog brush above it, the fog brush needs to be a detail brush.

Is that so? How come I have made triggers before and they weren't detail but worked fine?

It filled an entire hallway or did VIS have a way to peek around it? If VIS can see the portal on the opposite side of the brush, then it's not necessary (will just make compile time increase).

. . . which could cause the hom effect. It is good to make sure any brushes touching the void are structural, and the faces of these brushes which are on the void side caulked, or at least not have a texture with a shader attached to it.
