Hmmmmm, perhaps more people would check this thread out if the name of it made any sense.....It's just random words thrown together that make absolutely no sense.

Perhaps if you titled it. "New modeler needs help" You might get a better response.........

Start w/ the 3D studio box modeling tutorials (I don't have a link, but there are many out there - google is your friend). Then learn about character modeling starting from a drawing w/ extrusions. Then learn about more advanced techniques. I'm a n00b too, and I'm going through the steps. It takes patience on your part, and lots of work. Nobody is going to spoon feed you this stuff. I mean, some people go to school to learn this stuff, some people learn it on their own (w/ help as needed). Since it's quite obvious you're not the former, you are the latter. You can always take a class at a local college on 3D art stuff (ITT tech or something). Ask questions, but don't say, "teach me how to do this". If you want to get results, you have to show the initiative that you're working hard to learn. This is true in many disciplines. You don't go up to a doctor and say, "teach me how to do surgery". Get the picture?

BTW, your grammar needs major work. If you want help, try making your posts a little more legible by putting them through a grammar check or two.

mushashi, a tutorial about making a basic humanoid would benefit many people, as a lot of people don't know where to start. Importing the skeleton and fitting shapes to it aren't easy for us n00bs :).

I can do a BASIC, seeing how a tried and true model would take tons of space...I could do it in parts i suppose...Sounds like fun, how basic do i go?

Keeping it simple spheres and boxes and playing with verts to get a basic shape?

ok....just a little bit more imput and i'll start
