Bird Of Prey! Posted July 25, 2002 Share Posted July 25, 2002 BITCH MODE ON! I know this post is going to start a flamefest but I'm going to post it anyway. I'll be the first to admit that there are many cool MODS out there for JKII but a majority are being used by less skillful players to give them an advantage. Case in point, I log onto this server running Jedimod v1.1. There were 12 people on the server and only 3 who knew the commands to get 2 sabers, become giant, etc. Players kept asking how to do this or that and the host would not answer. If he answered it was a smart ass reply like "You have to enable the mod before you start the game. Goto your Desktop, click the start key, then click run, and type Format C:\ . The three players who knew the tricks ran around slaughtering other players and racking up points. In my opinion this is just wrong and a way for those, who get kicked around in a regular game, to appear skillful. I prefer to run GrappleMod1 on my server and I'll be the first to teach a new player how to use the grappling hook. I don't need to use an unfair advantage to score points!
