Does anyone know where I can get a skull prefab

I've got a better idea... Would an MD3 work? You could use GLM Import for MilkShape, import the Jedi model, remove the outer face and hair (so you have head_off and face_off or whatever), resulting in a bald mans head, which might work as a skull. Then just delete the rest of the meshes and tags, texture it in MS3D or whatever, export it to an MD3, and there you have it!

Yeah, you shouldent have ANY problems finding one--I was going to give you a list of sites with QIII prefabs--but when I typed in

Into google (without parentheses) I got QUITE a number of returns.

 

Just go to http://www.google.com and search away:

 

Ten minutes later you will have at least 40 on your HD to choose from.

Right, Mr Smarty Pants. Google was one of the first places I looked and AltaVista, with "skull prefab" "q3 skull prefab" "qIII prefab" and eventually "q3 prefabs" and "quake prefabs".

 

I found a sheetload of sites, non had a skull prefab.

 

Now you come along, say just magically search for this and you'll get quite a few, by the end of the day, you'll have 40 to choose from!

 

Nuh Uh, your search returned 29 results, which in search engine terms is VERY LITTLE. Out of those 29 sites, 27 of them were nothing to do with any of the quake games, and between the 2 sites that were quake related, do you know how many prefabs I found? 1. Yes, 1 prefab for a new flame effect.

 

Now I suggest you try it yourself before assume im some sort of idiot who cant work a search engine. If you're going to reply, please make it helpful, and don't just post to try to make the newbie look stupid.

Sorry my responce was so bitter, but the way other forums that i've been to (they will remain nameless) treat newbies made me think that you were trying to be smart and make me look stupid.
