Func_rotate with MD3's????

Guess I'll just have to look into a way to script it - will save that for the SP version of my map though. MP is current priority though.

(I hope the new DOOM 3 editor -when it arrives - will allow for this sort of thing AND concave brushes!!!!) Just need a JK3 with the DOOM3 engine ;-)

I guess judging by what I've read and tried that there is no way to get a MD3 model to rotate (Spin) on the spot?

 

Can it be done via scripting?

 

Anyone know where to reference Dewback sounds?

I noticed that too. I've been using the angle function in the entity info. Say you wanted to angle a tree model at like 15-20 degrees...like to make it parallel with a slight incline. Is it possible?

I believe that can be done in scripting... if you want it to angle the model to be parallel with an incline, I there's a set_pitch (I think) command in behaved that will (i think) do that.

 

There's always a yaw command...

 

If you want it to spin, you could script it to change its angle constantly, I suppose...
