Frumpus
LOL. I was just visiting this site: http://hem.passagen.se/filmljud/starwars.htm , and I heard the dewback sound. Kind of sounds like a "very" tweaked chainsaw starting up - something like that. It might help prospective modellers out there if you gave them some sample reference pics/art. **EDIT. . . Um .. . why did it post my reply at the top?? (shrugs)
monsoontide
Can someone please point me in the direction of some tutorials for making MD3's specifically for JK2 - thanks. Also i the Mapping forum there's a great post about not needing to use the clip brush to make MD3's 'Solid'. Monsoontide.
monsoontide
Hi Everyone, I was wondering if anyone had or was interesting in making a Dewback MD3 model for use in my Anchorhead map (See jedioutcastmaps.com for screenshots). I'm currently working on a final MP version of the map and was interested in doing a SP map and would like to have a Dewback or two as plot elements. If no-one has model, purhaps someone could point me in the direction of some Dewback sounds. Thanks Monsoontide.

monsoontide
Thanks - can't opening from work so will try again when I get home. Not keen on trying to build a Dewback from brushes & curves in Radiant but I don't have 3DSmax & my trial on Milkshape expired. monsoontide
O.K. - got GMAX. Have modeled a rough Dewback in LIGHTWAVE (Need to twak it a bit - but trying to keep it low poly) and will import it into GMAX. Then I saw a tutorial on RIch Diesels site about GMAX to JK2 so will have to check that out. Then just have to try to skin the damn thing - sigh! I hate skinning.
