having trouble with my BSP Full Vis

Basically whats happening is the bsp file isnt being created, therefore i cant test or distribute my map. I click BSP Full Vis, and the little black box comes up and disappears very quickly. I then go to check if the .bsp file was made and it wasnt. I have my.map file in maps, everything is where it should be. Can someone please help me. Thanks

I wish I could shed some light on this, but I've been having exactly the same problem. About the only differance is that at least mine is creating the .prt file, one of the steps in the compile. I've posted on this problem about three or four times, but either nobosdy has read them (not likely, considering where I posted) or noone has any earthly clue as to what to do about it.

 

Even re-installing doesn't seem to do anything to help, as I've done that about three times.

 

As soon as you figure it out, or somebody gives an answer, ,let me know as well, huh? I can actually USE this editor now, and of course THAT was when it chose to cut out on me, so to speak!

 

".bsp files? Ummm... wait.... that doesn't compute... uh.... YOU'RE UNDER ARREST!"
