Alarinn
Ciao, I have this really annoying problem. My config never "saves". I've even tried editing it manually. It does'nt save, or it gets "replaced" somehow.. Anyone have a clue what do do? Btw, could anyone of you script guys send me your config?, I would really, really appreciate it. Sith Maximus
Do the following. Go to start on your windows bar and navigate to your notepad. Open up the notepad and save the new project to your base folder for jk2 as EXACTLY this: "autoexec.cfg" This file will load last and overwrite any keybinds giving you the same binds every time. Now Delete you jk2mpcfg.cfg file from the base folder. Open the mp game again and when you see the menu screen justl eave the program. Now you have a fresh game cfg file to work with. Open up the new jk2mpcfg.cfg file along side of your new autoexec.cfg file. Copy all of the keys that have the work "Bind" before them. Now change the letter/number after the word "Bind" to the key that you want and save the file. Now everytime you open the game the keys will be bound the way you want them to be. If you are not sure what a key does in the jk2mpcfg.cfg file just look in the manual. Because you reset them back to the defaults you can use the manual to tell you what that key does and this will make it far easier to bind. For more info goto http://www.3dspotlight.com and look at their jk2 guide. It will give you all of the settings for the game as well as a guide on how to do what I just told you, but theirs may be a bit clearer than mine. Good luck!
