I simply think this is ridiculous because the only powerful force is GOD and there is no other power. This upsets me, i mean, i'm a christian...that's the religion i am. But it's people like that who give christians a bad name, because it makes us all look like we don't accept other people's religion...makes us look like closed minded bastards! Satan has power over the earthly happenings and earthly desires. God has the power of intervention. And this is the kicker.. Used to be in my profile after all. God is light right? He gives Satan power over what He wishes satan is a creation, a toy, not a God. not really a toy but you get the point. another thing christians arn't supposed to swear so watch your toung. and be an example. if you say your a christian and swear other people wont realy want to become a christian. ET Warrior Posted August 1, 2002 Share Posted August 1, 2002 I seem to have missed the commandment that says no swearing allowed......i know the one where i shall not take the lords name in vain...but i didn't.......so.....um.......if you can give me an actual verse of scripture that says no swearing, i will appologize most heartily..but until then....... (And why won't people want to join if they see that i swear... "Oh dear.....he's a christian who swears...that must mean that all christians are required to swear profusely or they are cast straight into the depths of hell......either that or it means that not all christians are perfect human beings...which just isn't right...i hate christianity!!") As a Christian myself I make sure to have respect for everyone's beliefs, because I realize that their beliefs are as sacred to them as mine are to me.
