Jedi Mod and Saber Hilts Questions

I'm not really understanding the whole saber hilt installation for the Jedimod. I downloaded ones that were specifically edited for the Jedimod, but I don't understand where to place them. Do I have to create a directory, if so where? Or do I have to open the .pk3 and change the location in them? Any help will be really appreciated. Thanks in advanced.

if they are "specifically edited for Jedimod" then you shouldnt need to edit the pk3 at all. just put the file in the jedimod or the base folder

 

now where did you download these specifically edited lightsabers??

Thanks, the hilts were on a geocities site that was linked in the General Forum under the thread Jedimod 1.1 released (I think that was the title, or something similiar. The site hosted the mod and had the anakin, vader, dooku, and qui gon hilts.

all i had to do is rename to saber file to saber_Name of saber Like this...

 

models/weapons2/saber (just change this)

models/weapons2/saber_name (to this)

 

and of coarse put all the files for your saber hilt in the saber_name file and i used winrar to do this i think you can use winzip too (just change the files off all your hilts to that)
