Remember the bit about the Midi-Chlorians how Anakin has a higher Midi-Chlorian count than even Yoda. Which means he has the potential to be stronger in the force than Yoda. Darth Talliusc Posted August 2, 2002 Share Posted August 2, 2002 pure potential anakins got more, knowledge yodas got more. if you want the EU explanation (i hear jedi-monk groaning somewhere) then yoda hid because he reached the "pinnacle" of his jedi existence, same as obi-wan. apparently there comes a time when jedi feel the need to put down their saber and be at peace. occasionally the jedi are called back but only in dire circumstances (first dstar for example) and kal el seriously, why have you been so grumpy recently? that was harsh man.
