ibballin Posted July 29, 2002 Share Posted July 29, 2002 well to find your ip address (in win98 or 2000) go to start|run| type ipconfig (for 2000) or winipcfg (for 98). i dont remember where to find it at using xp and i dont know M.E that much. as for the firewall you should be able to choose what programs are allowed to enter your computer. it depends on what firewall program you use. a thing that works for me is turning off my firewall Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
