Floydian Posted August 1, 2002 Share Posted August 1, 2002 I feel your pain. I am also carrying the "56K cinder-block" around when playing the game. I think I would be at least 50% better if I had broadband -- but it's not available where I live....I digress... Have you tried restarting the game after you time out? Re-establishing your connection? Sometimes when I try to refresh the list of servers, it cannot find any. I exit the game, bounce my internet connection, reload the game, and all is well. It would probably slow your connection down even more while making a call, but you could just spectate until you were done and then go back to your game. AbaJaBart Posted August 3, 2002 Author Share Posted August 3, 2002 I was considering to get a Emerson Switch board, but I think I found a solution that works, Now I keep the game as a window not full screen, and everytime I get kicked off I hit Windows Key D then reconnect.
