Luke Seaswimmer Posted August 2, 2002 Posted August 2, 2002 I think I'm afraid of heights. Or at least I've become afraid of heights since I've played this game. :-) Everytime there's a jumping puzzle, either on NS_Streets or in Desann's big ship (trying to get the communications array on-line) I always end up overshooting the target and dropping into oblivion. Is there a trick/ tip so that you can land where you want to? Or is it just a matter of practice. or simple luck? I think, also, that I hate jumping puzzles ;-)
teutonicknight Posted August 2, 2002 Posted August 2, 2002 Just pratice with aiming your jump. Trust me, it's possible.
RobCashwalker Posted August 3, 2002 Posted August 3, 2002 I looked down. I lined up my shot, then changed my Field of View precisely down (Page Down). Used the keyboard to run perfectly straight. Jumped at the very end. When over target, tap the down arrow.
Hanch Saode Posted August 3, 2002 Posted August 3, 2002 With enough practice, jumping will be a thing you don't even have to think over...you will learn!
