Inskipp
Got my server up and running great, thanks to all the help I've found in these posts. I'm currently running the jedimod 3.0++ mod, because I like the admin commands, and the scaling and such. I would like to have more than one line in my motd. Is it possible? Thanks in advance for the help! Inskipp master_jedi@comcast.net
Sith Maximus
Your motd can have more than one line by adding a \n it it. So... Hello\nHow are you? Would look like Hello How are you? Have fun! But it does limit the character # per line, just experiment to get what you want.
Inskipp
Thanks for the tip, but I tried that and it didn't work. When people connect they see: SABERS DOWN means do not\nattack or use force or kick! it was: SABERS DOWN means do not attack or use force or kick! If this was all I wanted there, I wouldn't have a problem, but I wanted to put another line. I agree with you that it should work. Perhaps \n is a control character of some type, and I need to be able to type that in my config. Thanks for the reply, now that we got a thread going, maybe we'll get some answers! Crybos
Well, what Sith Maximus said was for Adminmod. I don't think you can have more then 1 line on your Motd.
