RAM upgrades

This christmas I am planning on getting more ram for my PC and I am wondering what you think I am better off getting.... Mostly I am wondering wether I will see a difference in games.

 

PC Specs:

1.6 ghz P4

256mb SD RAM

64mb Geforce2

Windows XP home

I dont think I want to replace it.... if I am gonna go with 512 mb then I will just buy another 256 chip... I have other things to spend 100 bucks on.

my opinion: if you are going to get some go for 256, you can get 512 but you won't see that much of a diference for the extra money for 512

If it makes any difference, I went with 512 and noticed a considerable amount of difference. Computer salesman will insist that you buy a graphics card for gaming, but extra RAM really does help alot! Trust me!
