NerfYoda Posted August 17, 2002 Share Posted August 17, 2002 I'm running the super cool Vulcanis Admin Mod 2.2 on my server. My problem is some of the cvar's I'm setting in adminmod.cfg aren't taking effect in the game after I restart the server daemon. It looks like the server is somehow using an older version of adminmod.cfg. I've got the admin mod .pk3 & .cfg installed in /usr/local/games/jk2/adminmod. Is this correct? NITEMARE Posted August 17, 2002 Share Posted August 17, 2002 i am having the same problem. especialy the kickdamage is important and that is the first thing i experienced to be useless. thats why i had to take the mod off again and install mine(Duel_SE). i was happy at first because it has the saber damage and kickdamage virables AND cool admin options. so i decided to test it. but i cant go back to the pre duel_se gameplay... so i will write an email to marcel and ask him to give me the source code. so we can adjust those things by our selves for our server. ViolentJ_edi Posted September 21, 2002 Share Posted September 21, 2002 i have been running vulcanis since version 1.0 and if you just delete the adminmod.cfg and run the server then kill it, you can chage all the cvars in the jk2mp.cfg in the adminmod folder and everything will work just fine, works on my clans 3 servers!
