Leslie Judge Posted August 19, 2002 Share Posted August 19, 2002 If I were you, I would move the lights upwards, and add the scale key to the entities with a value greater than 1. Joben Posted August 19, 2002 Share Posted August 19, 2002 I looked at the cairn dock1.map Raven provided. they use lights with 'intesity' 5 and 'light' 30 a lot. I put settings like that in my map and it works quite nice. you have to use more of them and place them carfuly... and there is a way to get ambient light thoughout the map...but it doesnt look very realistic ive heard. Emon Posted August 19, 2002 Share Posted August 19, 2002 You could try light emitting shaders, those rock. They don't seem to give you the lightmap crap when you have tons of them.
