Can't Seem To get the whole making a map thing...??...??

For some reason making a map is way to hard and would love to start doing it. Yes this belongs in the tutorials thread but will it really be seen?? I need alot of help i have gmax and the radient map makers. If you can help me out that would be great.

This will teach you the basics of mapping and then some

 

As for gmax, there's a tutorial that you can download for that from the same place you got the proggie. But's it's just for modeling, you can't map for JK2 with it, not even with the tempest plug-in.

 

Any questions you have after reading through the tuts, ask your questions here, someone will be able to help you. Oh, and read VIO's sticky on mapping forum thread standards (or whatever it's called) for when you do have to ask for help.
