Revan Bakr'
If I don't have firewall, what else is keeping me from hosting an Internet server, and how can I fix this?
razorace
What do you mean? What happens when you try to host a server?
Revan Bakr'
I try to host a ded. server or just any old server on the Internet, but it does not show up. I've identified that I don't have firewall, so that's not the problem.
razorace
You sure you were trying to run a dedicated server correctly? That's the only way to actually show up on the master server list.
Revan Bakr'
I think I was. I go to create server in-game, and click on ded. server until it says yes. Then I select Internet and go. It takes me out of the game and that server runs on the console. But: When I try to join it only shows up on LAN, no Internet.
MysticSpade
i have this problem every now and again. but i have jedi runner but u can't run mods with jedi runner. if you want to run a mod in jedi runner enter game load mod, create server, it should have your settings saved then the dedication should be on internet. then begin game shuts down console pops up there you have it. Garath
are you behind a router? if you are, you will have to set up IP forwarding so your computer can be accessed by its IP address from the internet.. outside of that, I dunno.. I heard somewhere about registering on gamespy or something..
