Where do I get all of the Modeling tools I need, The Only Program that I have is Gmax

that's about all you need to get started. You can get good practive using gmax to make custom lightsabers. You will need to go back to discreet's web site and download the tempest game pack which will allow you to export your models in MD3 format. Or do a google search for Pop n Fresh exporter and just get the raw MD3 export file.

muashi, i was aware that you could use notepad for some functions but i doubt you can do your entire model in it and still have it look really good.

How can u make it how u like with notepad?!?!? I've never heard of someone who's using notepad to make their models r u sure u can use it ?

You can use notpad to make maps and webpages in notepad as well. They are fairly similar. That is the way they had to do it back in the day. Although it wasn't notepad, because there was no windows. So just stick to whatever modeling package you have.

Was it easier cause i find using gmax and milkshape the best thing i made was a vaporator for my map which was only cylinders put together . I can't find any tutorials on how to actually make the person all the legs arms etc only how to add tags etc
