Psynex Posted August 23, 2002 Share Posted August 23, 2002 that's about all you need to get started. You can get good practive using gmax to make custom lightsabers. You will need to go back to discreet's web site and download the tempest game pack which will allow you to export your models in MD3 format. KMan Posted August 24, 2002 Share Posted August 24, 2002 You can use notpad to make maps and webpages in notepad as well. They are fairly similar. That is the way they had to do it back in the day. superdude201 Posted August 24, 2002 Share Posted August 24, 2002 Was it easier cause i find using gmax and milkshape the best thing i made was a vaporator for my map which was only cylinders put together .
