Newbie1
How do I cause a trigger to be activated by Force Push? I Have fire effects linked to light source & want them to be switched off with force push then reactivate after a delay.

Newbie1
I have looked at all of the available trigger entities & cannot find a check box or reference to force push activation. There is USE or FIRE but nothing related to force powers. How is this? - On the Yavin FInal Level of SP, Force push is used to extinguish the flames for a delayed period & stop the flame_busrt effect & On Nar Shaddaa force push is used to activate the switches which redirect the garbage float to the end of he level. Gohan_Trunksss
it is possible just that i dont think anyones realy tryed to do it.
idontlikegeorge
i guess you could put a small invisible door in front of the button, that uses force_activate, and have the door target the trigger.... ?
Leslie Judge
How about func_static? I've never tried it, but it has f_push and f_pull spawnflags.
Newbie1
Thanxs for the Heads up all those who replied. I left that switch on hold for the moment while I script cinematics for all previous this point. Once I get my head round it I will post the simplest method I come across any case anyone else has similar queries. There are a lot of genuinely helpful people who will make an effort & a contribution!

obi_1_kenobi
Hmm i have a question thats like that but... Is there a way that a brush can be pushed or pulled all over the map, not just in set areas?
Icysis
Why not try to give the item the same spawn flag?.
JavaGuy
I'm working on a map with a button that I want the player to be able to use with either the Use button or with a Force Push. What I did was make part of the button a func_usable (to switch the lights back and forth when the trigger fires) and part of it a func_static with the f_push flag checked. When you point at it from a distance (which is where you'd need to Push from anyway) you get that swirly blue Force cursor.
