NakTawii Posted August 26, 2002 Posted August 26, 2002 i created a map and i have a question. How do i add music to my level so when i play it will play at a loop? ...please help:(
Gohan_Trunksss Posted August 26, 2002 Posted August 26, 2002 depends what music u mean dude, if u mean background music for the whole map to play then u open the worldspawn and type in music as the key and for the value you type in music/(filename).wav or .mp3 *note for this to work right you must create a new folder in base directory called music and place you music in that folder. now if u mean sound effects of music to play in certain spots of the map u have to use....... i think its called trigger_speaker? tis something_speaker ^_^ anyways then u type in music for key and then the path for value, for example again if its custom sounds it should be placed in your music folder and if its sound effects for like mini flame jet or something like that then u have to find the path in your assets0.pk3 and type that path as the value. hope i didnt confuse you and good luck
Karshaddii Posted August 26, 2002 Posted August 26, 2002 It's called target_speaker and actually the value is "noise"
Gohan_Trunksss Posted August 26, 2002 Posted August 26, 2002 oops sry i wasnt able to check cuz my radient keept shutting down right when i opend it
Andy867 Posted August 27, 2002 Posted August 27, 2002 Hey Gohan, on your HighVoltage map, are you going to use the song HighVoltage by Linkin Park? cause i noticed when loading it up, it was searching for the mp3 of HighVoltage.mp3 , Just curious
Gohan_Trunksss Posted August 27, 2002 Posted August 27, 2002 ugh so tired but yea i edited one the songs so it replays without delay it just keeps going and going and going without going low in sound and i figured its a good song cuz about half they song is saying if u cant shake the shock ......i forgot :-\ but it says something like that then high voltage in a electrical voice sounding way.
