Boba Rhett
OH OH OH! Tons of info about TTT! SPOILERS A PLENTY! First read this one: Helm's Deep A very intense battle scene with the same feeling as the battle sequence in Moria,: no music in the background, really chaotic. Theoden asks for more time. Aragorn yells in Elvish for everyone to go into the keep (his words are subtitled). As the soldiers retreat into the keep, Aragorn and Gimli come out from a back dooor. They peer down at the Beserker orcs. Aragorn looks at Gimli. Gimli says to him, "We can take them." Aragorn replies, "It's a long way down." Gimli hesitates for a moment and then says, "Toss me, Aragorn." Arargorn asks, "Are you sure?" (or something like that). Gimli answers, "Yes. but don't tell the Elf." Aragorn says, "Not a word" and tosses Gimli!!!! ____________________________________________ BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH *GASP* AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Now the rest: 1) Encounter between Eomer and the Three Hunters The Three Hunters are surrounded. The Riders of Rohan ride up and surround Aragorn, Legolas and Gimli. As you saw in the trailer, Eomer asks, "What business does a Man, an Elf, and a Dwarf have in the Riddermark?" Eomer's hostility causes Gimli to make a threatening remark, and Eomer replies, I would cut off your head, beard and all, Master Dwarf, if it stood but a little higher from the ground." Legolas then draws his bow and arrow, and says to Eomer, "You would die before your stroke fell." Aragorn stops Legolas and calmy explains that they are friends of the King (although he does not reveal their names). Eomer replies that the King does not recognize friend from foe. He also reveals that Saruman has poisoned his mind, and has taken over these lands. 2) Eowyn and Grima Eowyn is sitting by her dead cousin and weeping. Grima comes in and says that Theodred must have died last night. Grima then puts his hand on Eowyn's shoulder. Eowyn throws his hand off, and tells him to leave her alone. Grima says that she is indeed alone. Grima continues to talk, and begins to feed her compliments. He then puts his hand on her cheek, she closes her eyes. When she opens them, she says "Your words are poison." After her encounter with Grima, Eowyn sees Gandalf, Aragorn, Legolas and Gimli approaching. Eowyn then walks out to the top of the stairs (this is the scene that has been seen in the preview, teaser and trailer). Far off you see three riders riding up. The Rohan flag on a pole, rips off from the wind, and flies down. The shot moves to the Three Hunters. As the Hunters approach, all the people of Rohan stare at them in silence. Gimli says that its as if they were in a grave. Aragorn looks down and sees the flag of Rohan on the ground. There is an absolutely stunning panoramic shot of Rohan. 3) Arwen and Elrond Arwen is lying down in Rivendell. Elrond walks in and in Elvish tells Arwen to go, because the ships are leaving. The inhabitants of Rivendell are leaving for the Gray Havens. However, Arwen says that she has made her decision. Elrond replies that he is not coming back, and there is no more hope, but Arwen says, as in the scene from the trailer, "There is still hope." Alone Elrond continues and says that if he comes back, she will still be left behind. The scene then dissolves into a "flash foward," many years in the future. Arwen standing by Aragorn as he lies atop his grave, his beard is gray, he has a crown atop his head, and he lies with his sword. The body then fades into stone, and Arwen standing at the foot of the grave. (This is the scene that we saw in the trailer when she is wearing a veil). Elrond continues in voice-over, saying that she will wander the woods alone, and she with have to live the rest of her long years alone. The scene dissolves back to Arwen in Rivendell. She sheds a tear. Elrond sits next to her and asks her in Elvish, whether she has love for her father as well. Crying, she answers "yes." (Elrond was not stern in the scene. You could totally see his concern and love for his daughter. It is clear that he does not want to see his daughter suffer after Aragorn passes away.) 4) Frodo, Sam and Gollum This scene starts with Gollum crawling down the side of the rock (as seen in the teaser) mumbling. Right as he reaches for Frodo, Frodo and Sam pop up from their feigned slumber and fight. Gollum struggles with Frodo and Sam individually, for about a minute or two. Eventually, Sam gets a hold of Gollum. Gollum then bites Sam on the shoulder and gets him in a headlock. Frodo then comes up drawing Sting (as seen in some TTT pictures) and threatens to cut his throat. Gollum releases Sam. The Taming of Smeagol. Then, you see Gollum with a rope strung around his neck. He is whining about how much it hurts. Sam suggests that they just tie him and leave him. Gollum protests. Frodo says that he does seem like he should die, but he feels pity for him. Gollum says that he should take pity on him. Sam firmly believes that they should not trust Gollum, he takes steps towards Gollum, Gollum in fear runs back, and Sam yanks him forward with the rope (Sam is utterly disgusted by him.) Frodo asks if he knows the way to Mordor. Gollum says yes, eventually after chatter, Frodo takes the rope off. 5) Theoden and Aragorn Aragorn spies Saruman's army ("ten thousand strong") before reporting to Theoden. Aragorn pushes open the doors of the Golden Hall (as seen in both the teaser and the trailer). He says that Saruman's army has left Isengard, at least ten thousand of them. He also says they are bred to end the world of men (as in the trailer) and that they are headed for Rohan. Theoden pauses, and says, "Let them come."
