i've got 6 tapes of simpsons episodes, they're my all time favorite show

and then he pulls a vader at the end of the show and pics up the owner and tosses him over the ledge.

im looking for feedback on the head mostly, its looking like him but its not quite there yet... or maybe he wont ever look perfect because hes really a 2d character?

Are you going to attempt cell-shading? Simson's models always look better cell-shaded.

well... 1. i have no idea how to cell-shade

and 2. i read in the Optimus thread that it doubles the poly count, i think... and if thats true then theres no way thats going to happen.

Yeah the head looks a little fat and it needs a neck (don't know if you've gotten that far). What would be great is if someone made custom animations for him like to do a thrust jump lol

Can you give us a side shot, so we can see if the upper lip extends far enough?

 

Also, cell shading doesn't double the polycount, it's a way of skinning.

i re-read his post, and the reason its double the poly count is to get that black outline around a character, so w/o it, it might look a tab bit odd.
