Hi, I have this model for 3dsmax and i would like to know if it is posible to get in game and how, if any modeler can do it i would send it to him right away. Here is a pic, i didn't do it the author is Steve Green and he says the model is about 17K polygons.

17K?! I thought the limit was about 2K - 3K? If thats real that is a very nice model... but a LILLLLL bit over on the polycount

It looks great but I do agree that it is MAJOR overkill

Anybody who can get that model down to 3000 polys could just as easially make his own model from scratch, it's not worth the effort

yes its from scifi 3d, I dind't know it was that hard toonces sorry I'm not a modeler, sorry for the waste of time guys.

Well if anoyne could get it down to 3k..why not do that for all those models? They all look outstanding. But guessing that is probably not possible.

Nah, it's all good frendon, It's not so much that it's all that difficult to do, it's just that it would take alot of time to do properly, it would be easier to make the model from scratch

yes that was what i was thinking bleek but if toonces says it is not possible then it is not possible, hey bleek i loved your jacen and anakin solo skins how the hell you do that stuff? what programs do you use?

I think Haplash said he was gonna mabey do a Snowtrooper...so that should be great if he does.

 

Thx! I used Photoshop to do em. Used the Luke model and just looked a pictures of them and also got lots of suggestions from the skinning thread on what they thought I should change or fix up.

yes they look great they make the luke model look totally different, i have change some stuff from the original skins with photsuite but that is as far as I can go, If i had photoshop i would try to get more time on skining you really inspired me with those skins i have them as custom npcs for sp I like to go to jedi acadamey and see them there.
