Araegon
the best way is just to import up the saber_w.glm from the assets0.pk3 in the models/weapons2/saber/ folder. thats what i used for my Glamesting saber. but it hasn't been tested yet. for a full tutorial, Clickie Here

Raven Vegeta
Makeing a Flash tag is pretty simple and quick to figure out... Make a Single Polygon (triangle) and label it "flash_tag" [ Labeling it Flash is for a weapon flash, so if you want another effect that you'll just need to find out the name probably "Jetpack" if using the jetpack mod ] Now place it where you want the Flash to be Now to make sure you have the flash the right way round, change it so that you have a short side against where you want the flash to come from and the point slightly enlonged out in the direction the flash should be. then rotate so that the visible side (if you have backfaces off) is facing forward. Thats all there is to tags really (^_^)

Raven Vegeta
Hmm... well unless you are exporting just the backpack as a weapon, then you'll probably need all of the other tags and everything as well that normal Q3 models need. try rotating the tags, I remember that one or two has to be positioned oddly. also you did define the tags within the model's *.qc right? I know that normally I forget to do that other than that, i'm not sure - perhaps need to explain exactly what the model is and how it'll be attached. I mean if you create your own tag using Tag Def you'll also have to name the actual effect with the tags name too. Suchas f_flash or w_blaster ... if you still can't figure it I'll be happy to give it a try myself - always more things you can think of than explain
