Gallowbraid
In the game there are several maps that contain "pipes" that have curved elbows to them...how is this accomplised in Radiant? I have yet to figure it out...I can make the pipes, but I'm getting sick of joining two pipes together with a cube brush. Anybody help? Or point me toward a tutorial? Takeoffyouhoser
basically, all you need to do is drag the vertices... make your pipe, texture it, and hit the V key. Then, play around with the the different views ( CTRL-Tab ) and move the vertices' and you should see your pipe bend normally.
lassev
One thing to remember is that there are different densities in the Cylinders. Depending on the density, you get more or less vertice dragging points. That means, the denser the cylinder, the more complicated forms you can shape it in. Choose a density that suits your ambitions, but be concervative. If I'm wrong about these things, somebody correct me, because these are only my own deductions. Livingdeadjedi
one thing to remember, to make it easier make sure before you move the vertices that they sit on the grid, this will help and keep it neat and tidy.
