Matariel Posted September 26, 2002 Share Posted September 26, 2002 did i hear someone say that max 5 has VERY FEW NEW FEATURES!?! have you seen the discreet site? i cant wait to get my hands on a copy of max 5, it looks really really cool! come on, a new ray tracing engine allowing caustics, indirect lighting, advanced anti-aliasing and much more, new animation systems, new simulation tools, plus heaps more! im trying not to sound like an advertisement, but im really into the 3d graphics scene(i do 3d modelling/rendering as a hobby) and max 5 looks like a great alternative to Maya, which is hopeless to learn unless you go to unversity (which i do, but we dont learn Maya, we learn Max) and also, if the max4 plugins work with max5, cool Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
