mongoose_5 Posted September 29, 2002 Posted September 29, 2002 after downloading the skins, where do i put them to work? I have tried to put them in the game data file but this did not work. Pardon me for being stupid, but i havent found anywhere that tells you where to put them.
Datheus Posted October 2, 2002 Posted October 2, 2002 You can either put them in a FOLDER in your gamedata folder... so if you download ANH Luke skin... you can create a new folder in your Gamedata folder called ANH Luke.. or whatever you want. Doing this will require you to load the skin as a mod everytime you run JK2... also, you'd only be able to do one skin at time. The preferable way to do it is when you get the skin, open the zip file, and extract the .pk3 file that should be in there to your Gamedata\base folder, this will load this skin for selection by default everytime *WARNING* Sometimes skins can counter act other skins and mods, so if you ever have something with your game suddenly start acting all weird, get rid of any mod or skin you recently added, and that should fix your problem
