I tryed the botmaker and thats don't work I tryed making my own and it don't work I tryed using a jkb from and make a .bot file and it don't work I know you need a .jkb file and a .bot is there any other file i need? Or do i have make my skin bot related? PLease someone help!!!!!! It would help if someone know anywere i can find how to make one or explan how to make it work? Matt-Liell Posted September 30, 2002 Share Posted September 30, 2002 Ok stay with me! This may be confusing so stay calm! Ok first take an existing .jkb and .bot file. (FOR EXAMPLE) if u were using a .bot file for a luke model it would say in the .jkb "Luke's personality............" change this to ex [yourbotname]'s personality Then replace all other "Luke's" with your bot name and make your taunts and stuff and save it. Open the .bot and again it with say something like ex: This file will add the Luke bot, change luke with your bot's name. then under bot name put your bot name and under model put then name of the folder your skin is in! Get a file called PAKSCAPE (to get it search for it in google) put the skin in the model/players/[yourskinname] directory the .JKB FILE IN THE botfile DIRECTORY and the .BOT FILE in the Scripst directory. if done correctly with all the steps above your bot will work! Vincent EX-Turk Posted September 30, 2002 Share Posted September 30, 2002 Ok now I´m gonna guide you trough this. 1. When you made the .jkb and .bot file they will be in this directory /gamedata/base/botfiles/botname. Open the botfiles folder then open the botname folder, then select and copy the botfiles and scripts folders (in there). Now create a new folder in the base directory and name it to whatever you want. Now open that folder and paste in the folders you copyed (the botfiles and scripts folders). Now create a new .zip file in the base directory, open it and hit the add button, now browse the new folder you just made and click the button add with wildcards (make sure to have the include subfolders checked), you will now have all your files including the folders in the .zip file. Now close the .zip file and rename it to from .zip file to .pk3! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
