I need some map packs. where can I find?

I reinstalled my game and I would like to now if there are any large map packs of council, ewok, and ects? It is real cumbersome to try and down load so many different ones. Yet it is even more frustrating to not be able to get into a mp game because you don't have that particular map. Another questions is if the server has different hilts, animation(like the butterfly) or skins does the game still load but with other defaults like Kyle for the skin of vader? What pk3., like maps will need to be downloaded first in order to be compatible with some mp games? Mega Thanks in Advance.

Easiest place to go get maps is http://www.jedioutcastmaps.com. They also have a few map packs like you're looking for.

 

As for your question on what you need to get into a room, it depends on what the host is using, and if they're running a pure server. Usually the only things you need to join a game is whatever map they're using, whatever saber hilt they're using (if they're not using the default one), and any mods they're running (i.e. - ones that change animations, JediPlus, etc). Many people do not put the files they are using, so that can make it difficult sometimes, but others will let you know what you have to get or have to join the game. Hope this helps.
