Need Help!

Ok. I downloaded All Seeing Eye (ASE), but I still have no idea on how to control my server. Could anyone explain to me on how to control my server using this (ban people, addbots, ect.)?

I REALLY need help with all of this.

More Detail: When I want to host a server, I dedicate it to the internet and then go and join it. When I join it, it doesn't let me do a thing. Second of all, even when I don't dedicate it to anything, it still doesn't let me ban anyone or anything. Third of all, I have no clue on how to use the rconpassword. I set the rconpassword to something then type in the password, but it doesn't seem to do anything. I am really confused and need help!

Ok, I think I know part of the problem: How do I get the server configuration file to take effect when I launch Jedi Outcast?

Whatever I put in that file, doesn't change anything when I go to create server. Could someone explain to me how to get whatever I put in the server configuration file to take effect when I launch the game?

OK when you find your server in all seeing eye, select it then press F4, in the box that should pop up put in your passwords. and then click OK.

your RCON password and private connection passwords should now be set.

if you wish to for instance check who is on the server do teh following:-

select your server and press F8, this will bring up a dialogue that looks a bit liek notepad. from this dialogue you can enter server commands without having to type rcon before it.

eg:- type "status" and you will see a list of players their client numbers and their IP's.

Ok so far so good. When u join your server you simply connect via ASE in the usual way the RCON password will already be set so you can perform server commands by typing for example:-

rcon status

to perform the same task as mentioned beforehand.

anyways that should get you started. and that will be $20 for tech support!!!

:D :D
