StrSk8er Posted October 20, 2002 Posted October 20, 2002 nope, is it worth the money though. it looks good for bein massively multiplayer.
Eldritch Posted October 20, 2002 Posted October 20, 2002 I think any game based on an actual war should be prohibited. It degrades the men that fought and died during the war. My grandfather was a WWII veteran. He was a paratrooper that received a Purple Heart and a Bronze star... when I was young I would always ask him about the war because I thought it was "cool." But looking back now, and remembering his face, I can tell it was something he didn't want to think about. Games like this make the actual experience cheap and worthless. I think games like this should be banned, because it degrades men like my grandfather. -Anakin

My grandfather lost sight in one eye because the operation he would've had to undergo would've taken money away from that which he could use to feed his 4 children. So he lived with pain his entire life (from a mortar shell exploding near his position) - he had metal shrapnel coming out from his skin till the day he died...
Marth Posted October 20, 2002 Author Posted October 20, 2002 That is very sad, i too have felt the pain of loss only with my.......mother which is worse

A close friend of mine lost his mother when he was in 5th grade (he was about 10 years old, I think). His mother planned everything about her funeral (she had cancer, and knew it was coming) from her funeral site to her will to her tombstone to part of her eulogy... I was only 7 when my grandmother died, but I still remember it as the worst pain i've ever experienced.
Marth Posted October 20, 2002 Author Posted October 20, 2002 my mom died of canncer too and that was the worst day of my life what is worse i have to take care of my 6 year old bro & it is not very easy
Eldritch Posted October 20, 2002 Posted October 20, 2002 I think you mean you have to "help" take care of your brother... unless you're both in an orphanage, you still have a father or foster parents...
Marth Posted October 20, 2002 Author Posted October 20, 2002 Yes i thankfully have a Father still but he has to work till late and my older bro is just lazy so im stuck w/ him
Eldritch Posted October 20, 2002 Posted October 20, 2002 I know how that goes. Even though I'm the 4th of 5 kids, I still had to watch out for my younger brother. -Anakin
