Datheus
Yes, my friends, you thought getting away from the TV would save you from the media hype, but nay! Actually... this is hardly about the actual murders... I would just like to say one thing: What total media hype this crap is. If you put all 13 or 14(?) crime scenes (not just the actual murders, but the three missed ones also) on the map.. and then draw a line connected the out side perimeter of all these shootings... then COUNT ever single person in the population INSIDE that area, and compare it to the people actually shot you'd get this: people shot --------------- = 0.xxxxxxx population .xxxxxxxx *multiplied by 100* = Percentage of people shot Now... let's compare this number... I'm willing to bet you're more likely to get struck by lightning than shot by this yahoo. I don't know the exact numbers, but I have a feeling I'm pretty damn close. Ok, now on to my real subject: ----------------------------------- WHY are people point at video games AGAIN? http://www.penny-arcade.com/news.php3?date=2002-10-14 Read Tycho's news post, and the various links citing material that points the finger at video games. The MSNBC video, the part about video games is in the later part, I believe
