Well... well... well... we all find ourselves doing less work when the mod team your on currently has their webpage down. So we decided to do some other work in its down time. I was trying out new ways of imitating chrome metal and came across something that looked like it could be real. So I reskinned our APEX saber. Since it looked good Slayer is working on some minor changes to the model so we can continue to use this skin. Let me know what you think...

 

Oh yeah it will be hilt mod compatible

I'm pretty sure mod compatible sabers are also game compatible, but ill make sure.

 

The only difference is in the final file structure.

Normally its: E:\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars JK II Jedi Outcast\GameData\base\models\weapons2\saber

 

But for the mod its E:\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars JK II Jedi Outcast\GameData\base\models\weapons2\saber_apex

looks awsome, but the two prongs at the top need a little work, they seem to be just grey

hmm...

I'll contrast them a bit but I am 100% sure there more than just grey.

At least it looks better then that hideous Kyle hilt skin the game came with. Its kind of strange that they spent time on a realistic Luke hilt skin but only did a gradient for Kyle's.

 

 

 

 

Does anyone know of a plug-in or utility that allows you to convert a .GLM to an .MD3?

 

I think we lost our .MD3, no wait I think Madjai uvw mapped it back when we didn't know how... so here's a long shot...

you could load it up in milkshape3d and export to md3
