The Truthful Liar
Walls can be detail, however you add caulked structural brushes around them. Anything that doesn't block vis should be detail. Refer to this link for examples on how to use and create detail/structural/hint brushes: http://www.nrgteam.com/tutorials_hinting.shtml. Follow this link for detailed information on detail brushes: http://richdiesal.jedioutcastmaps.com/tutorials/gc102lsn3.html. Cheers
Wudan
Be mindful, many times, mappers abuse detail brushes to get faster compiles with SOF2MAP. Don't. Use q3map2 by yndar for faster compiles, and hint brushes for details. For faster compiles, and for brushes that are, in fact, detail, use detail brushes. http://www.shaderlab.com/q3map2/ and a how-to is in order: http://users.sisna.com/wudan/q3map2.html
