bernman
I have a geforce2 ti 32mb card and I was using 3dMark 2001se benchmarking program from madonion.com to find the best video driver. I ran several tests and found nvidia detonator ver 29.42 to have the highest scores. The driver that came with my card had the lowest score. Hope this helps. swelsh
can this program be used with a GeForce 4? cuz I can't get my video card to run 3d games so I'd like to be able to test driver versions.
bernman
yes, you can run the 3dmark with geforce4. you probably need to use nvidia detonator ver 30.82 and higher but you can test the previous versions just for the heck of it. with 3dmark you can go online and see your score compared to other cards. Sith Maximus
Try to use the most advanced driver for your video card as you can get. The relesed version is the 40.72 and it is FAR better than the older drivers. Card: Asus GF3 TI200 (64meg) Old 3dMark (27.70) 7720 OLd 3dMark (30.82): 8433 New 3DMark (40.72): 9130 Thats quite a jump.
