mid-air medium special (?)

I've heard somewhere that its possible to execute a medium special while in mid air, more specifically start doing one in mid air. I doubt it exists but... just want to make sure.

ok just to let ya know, i haven't been able to do a off head med sp yet, and i've been told its impossible heh. However, i've seen, and now done the mid air med special. it DOES exist, and it IS really cool heh
