(Now that the search function in these forums is available, I already did a search.) The player model that I'm working on has three different hair styles. Using the .surf file, I keep one mesh visible while the other two are hidden. (This, of course, allows for variations of the character.) It works fine in the game, for the most part. But when her head is cut off by an opponent, the other two hair styles suddenly become visible. Is there any reason why this is happening? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

My problem is easy to describe. Whenever you play the game with any version of Xev, when her head gets cut off, all three styles of hair suddenly become visible. What's the deal? I've quadruple-checked the proportions twelve dozen times. She is not a giant woman. She is petite. That is why her head looks "a tad too big." The only people who criticise the proportions of the head are people who are not familiar with the characer or the show. I'm sooooooooooooooooooo tired of defending this one point. I'm also so tired of defending the proportions of her lips, which are larger than Angelina Jolie and Jolene Blalock combined. Yes, I know how to take criticism, so don't start in on me with that. I've welcomed all criticism for all these months I've worked on this model. And I've used all criticisms and applied them to my model. The head is not too big. I've re-checked this so many times it makes my own head hurt. When this model is released, it would be a good idea to apply that re-sizing function that's possible with the JediMod. If yet another person tells me that her head is too big, I don't think I will be able to stop screaming. Xev is part clusterlizard and that is what her taunt would be. If you use the JediMod, you'll be able to use more taunts that I'll include.
