Zubaz Posted November 25, 2002 Share Posted November 25, 2002 Half or around half of my games crash or quit or whatever,my specs are:OS[Windows XP Professional (5.1 - 2600)] System Uptime[9m 36s] CPU[1-AMD XP, 1396MHz, 256KB (0% Load) ] Memory[usage: 197/256MB (76.95%)] Video[NVIDIA GeForce2 MX/MX 400] Screen[1280x1024 32bit 60Hz] Sound Card[insert Sound Card] Network Interfaces[#1 (3Com 3C905TX-based Ethernet Adapter (Generic) - Packet Scheduler Miniport (100Mb/s) 2.36MB In, 0.36MB Out)] Hard Drive Space[ C:\ (0.61GB Free, 4.88GB Total), G:\ (7.99GB Free, 15.62GB Total), H:\ (10.90GB Free, 16.77GB Total) ] HELPPPPPPP:( :( btw: i got the stats from my irc script and i set nearly all my games' compatibility to windows 2000.. You could try updating your video card @ http://www.nvidia.com (v40.72) (12.3MB download) Also, try cutting your resolution back to 1024x768. It sounds like at times, your computer might be trying to load a highly detailed area, and the resolution is too much for the video card to handle. Also, which HD do you have Outcast installed to? You also might want to try moving your virtual memory over to the other/larger drives. It might help with performance.
