Darth Kaan Posted November 26, 2002 Share Posted November 26, 2002 I have read RD's tut's and every q3 tut I can find, but none so far have given me the info I need about the following; Multi Player map (yes, using the mp.def file), 2 elevators side by side (func_plats), I want one to start at the top, go down, then back up. I have tried trigger brushes, angle -2 and no matter what, both start at the bottom and go up then back down. How do you get a func_plat to park at the top, go down the repark at the top? I know it can be done because several mp maps I play have the one up one down elevator combo I am trying to add to my map. Any explaination of how to do this would be greatly appreciated. Dragarius Posted November 26, 2002 Share Posted November 26, 2002 You can also make 'plats' with FUNC_DOOR with a vertical movement. Doors give you many more options than plats do.
