Guest Darth Wart
Maul has two blades when you unlock him, but when you get a blade extender or amplifier, it's reduced to a single blade. ------------------ Wart Get your free JPB guide at: http://jedipowerbattlesguide.homestead.com/JPB.html

Guest Darth_Simpson
Wart is right. His second blade disappears after you pick up a powerup. And isn't his top blade shorter than the bottom one? Sure looks like it to me!
Guest Obi-Juan Kenobi
Hey, you know what? I noticed that the top looked taller than the bottom also. And also wart can be right if he wants to, but I still see both blades? But apperentley more than one person is seeing only one blade also? But I am so confident that one dosnt dissapear, that I could actually bet my life on it, and fell completley relaxed, and safe. Oh well. I will check next time I play. I will appologize if I find out that it deffinitley disapears. ------------------ John(juan)pronounced(wan) All to gether its Obi-Juan Kenobi. Check out My webpage! Guest Darth Wart
Respectfully, you guys are all wrong or half-right. The "double-bladed" Maul in DC is the same sprite as in the PSX. One would expect this since the DC version originally WAS the PSX version. 1. Maul normally has two blades, but there is really only one two-blade combo: AAY, which the PSX character cannot do. The rest of Maul's moves are the exact same as they are when he has the single blade in the PSX version. 2. When Maul picks up a blade AMPLIFIER, he still has two blades on his saber, but only on receives the amplification. The explanation for this lies in the fact that, again, the sprite is the same as the PSX single-bladed Maul. You can tell by the way he carries it when he runs. 3. When Maul picks up a blade EXTENDER, he only has one really long blade. My point is, the DC double-bladed Maul was not created from scratch. They just put some layovers on the PSX sprite. This situation -- creating a double-bladed Maul by such cheesy and obvious methods -- tells me that the DC version is the most outrageous ripoff I've ever encountered in video-gamedom. ------------------ Wart Get your free JPB guide at: http://jedipowerbattlesguide.homestead.com/JPB.html
Pedro The Hutt
Err... weren't sprites used in 2D games? In 3D games they use the term "Models" if I'm not mistaking.
