DracoFXB
Okay everyone. I wanted to know how do I get to have my characters in MP use a dualsaber like Anakin in EP2 and dualblade like Maul in EP1. Well everyone told me that I needed to download a mod . So I came to this site and downloaded a mod called "JediMod". So I downloaded it. This is where I downloaded it to -----> C:\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars JK II Jedi Outcast\GameData\base So then I started up JKII went to MP and went to where it had mods, and it had nothing!!!!!!?!?!?!?!? Why is that? Can someone please tell me why? Or where I was SUPPOSED to download it to. Also, when it does start to work, can you all tell me step by step in great detail to what I am to do if I want to activate the two-sabers/dualsaber cheat thingy in multiplayer. Can you please tell me. And when I say great detail I mean great detail. I mean, tell me step by step of exactly what YOU do when you do the cheat. DracoFXB
Come on guys, I know many of you use the same mod and the same cheats. Somebody has to know the answers to my problem.
Kainite
You put it in the wrong place. The base folder is for stuff which contributes to the mod that you're running, in this case, base JKII. What you wanna do is get rid of the files you extracted into the base folder and instead extract to the gamedata folder. You might have to make a folder there first called JediMod or whatever you want to appear in your list. So you're final destination will be something like c:/program files/lucasarts/jedi knight 2 jedi outcast/gamedata/jedimod. Load up game and it should be in the mods list, although if you join a server that already has the mod running it will turn itself as as soon as you connect. teleguy
Winzip should automatically create that folder when you extract the file.
DracoFXB
I'm still not getting this. I goto unzip it, I click on program files, then LucasArts, then JKII, then gamedata, then next I see base....but you guys are talking about some JediMod folder, where do I find it? teleguy
The jedimod folder isn't there yet . It will be created when you unzip the modfiles . You only have to extract the files to "Gamedata" . If you use Winrar you will see that all the modfiles are already in a Jedimod folder inside the zipfile.
