Red Nine
Alright, I just finished the Battle of Endor, and all those damned lousy voice imitations. My question is this: The game was made by essentially the same company (or division thereof) that made the movies, and therefore the origional lines. What's the problem then of simply using lines from the movies itself, rather than those horrible excuses for imitations? Is this Lucas being anal again? edlib
I suspect it really lies more in the actors from the movies getting royalties for thier voice performances (Actor's-Union regulations, don'tcha know...) and that using imitators was a LOT cheaper to pay royalties (on each copy sold) than Billy Dee Williams, etc... Flying Beastie
Get thee to Ace Antilles' X-wing Outpost and seek out one of his sound upgrades. They replace the sound files in the game with more movie-accurate ones, and I know that one includes actual audio clips from RotJ (I don't know which one, as I downloaded it years ago and the files appear to have changed names/amalgamated since then).
