Garland
Is there any way to increase the memory allowed in lightmaps for a map? I'm in the process of making an (excessively) large map and it's gotten to a point where the lighting refuses to compile because "Lightmap memory exceeded maximum". I'd like to avoid breaking the map into several maps, though if I have to... -Garland
Kengo
http://66.250.145.38/showthread.php?s=&threadid=72368 Hope that does the trick, I ad that problem with a map and it took me a loooong time to get rid of it - in the end I had to delete all the light entities and start doing them again.....but thats like a last resort (that or spliting the level up I guess) - I'd try the other options suggested in this thread first...and remember to keep lots of backups of your maps before you make massive changes! Garland
It looks like that might just be the answer, even though my problem isn't number of lights, but the size of the map. I'll give it a try--thanks! -Garland
